Tuesday June 10th we were twistin’ the night away in Norwich, playing a variety of songs from both our Regular and our Hawaiian set lists, for the Ontario Retirees Camp-out organization. When we arrived at the Norwich Community Center it looked like about a hundred or more campers and RVs had descended upon the track and ball diamond, and the auditorium sure was packed with people listening to our entertainment hour.
This event was booked by Karen Edwards, who is a member of Grace UC Port Dover, and we couldn’t be more thankful to her for inviting DUH to play for them! What a fun audience! They sang along, they clapped allllll the way through Let’s Twist Again, AND they laughed at our jokes! One of our funnest outings yet! Afterwards a few of us drove over to the Tastee Treat for soft ice-cream and admired the restored muscle cars.
